Theme: Challenge again!

I enrolled in yet another class of the same theme because I wanted to challenge myself from a different angle that I took in the morning class, so this time I want to create a whimsical design.

How do you create an arrangement that makes the viewer smile and see the playfulness one can create in a floral arrangement?

I think the image says it all – remember when we were young we would try to balance all sorts of things so why not take this ‘form of play’ into an ikebana arrangements. Creating the work I encountered a balancing challenge with the slippery cumquats plus gravity making the support branch move ever so slightly. The more I secured the balancing part the more symmetrical the arrangement became. It was fun ‘playing ‘ with this challenge
