Bamboo arrangement for the table

A versatile material which leads to an endless list of designs. The theme in class today was to construct a table arrangement using bamboo.

The ideas were plenty, but time was short . Armed saw and drill in hand I set about deconstructing only to rearrange short lengths of bamboo into a different form. Threading small sections onto wire I was able to intersect the vertical bamboo in such a way the work could stand freely.

Because it was to be a table arrangement a few Chrysanthemums have been added. I didn’t want to overpower the bamboo form, so the flowers are just a subtle addition
