Workshop With the Iemoto in Delhi

Power Within or Power for External – we could select how we wanted to depict power in our arrangement.

The Iemoto demonstrated both examples, which interpreted the themes extremely well. One arrangement used Calla Lilies and an Anthurium flower, the second example used a strong piece of drift wood painted willow and Strelitzia flowers. Note both arrangements used containers to support the theme

Most delegates choose Power for External, which I also chose to express power reaching out of the arrangement because I do not like the feeling of being restricted and this applies to the material I use. I like energy to be free and explosive reaching for greater goals. The material that was issued determined the design so here lay one challenge, plus I had no choice of container. These additional challenges should not stand in ones way – I used a small branch, several and 3 Anthurium flowers. The flowers depicted stepping-stones triumphing to be above all the distractions presented in life and become more powerful.
